What Other PC Games Do You Play?

Hey everyone! Sorry I STILLLL haven’t posted the next chapter of the Bolden’s yet. Especially after that stupid computer thing. I’m not going to bore you with a lot of details, but I’ll tell you a little of what’s been going on lately. (Yes, I’ve got my excuses ready;) Basically, I’ve been having some health-problems. The doctors are trying to figure out what’s causing it, and I’ve been in and out of the doctors for tests and check-ups all month long. Anyway, until I’m feeling a little better, updates are going to be a little slow. I ensure you though, I am working on it!

To pass the time until the next update comes, here’s a little activity thinggy for all you readers out there!

What PC Games Do YOU Play?ย (Other than Sims, of course!)

And when I say PC, I mean “Personal Computer.” I’m not excluding Macs! Any computer game that you have to download, not internet mini games. Answer in the comment section below!

Brace yourselves! I’m going to let you in on my inner-nerd. Okay, inner and outer nerd. I used to play World of Warcraft, and I’ve tried both Star craft and Star Wars the Old Republic. What? I told you to brace yourselves. I stopped playing all of them awhile ago though, mostly because of lack of people to play with. I’m pretty busy with my blogs and school work now anyway, so it’s only Sims for me at the moment. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you play any multi-player or social games, feel free to leave your information (User name, character name, whatever!) in the comments. Actually, please do! You might beย surprisedย at how many people play the same games as you, and you might just make a really good friend. This includes The Sims 3, you can leave your forum name here!

You’re also welcome to leave a link to your blog here. But ONLY if you answer the question above. This isn’t free advertising!

If you really want to, you can even leave your e-mail or other contact information. No, I’m not trying to be a creeper. Just trying to let people get to know each other! I know I’d like to get to know a lot of my readers, and you can get to know each other as well. We can make a small little community here.:)

And lastly, if you have any questions for me, ask away! They can be personal, about the blog, or just anything you can think of. Ask lots of questions for me! Why? Because answering questions is something I can do easily, and it makes me feel like I’m not neglecting my blog. Plus, as I said before, I’d love to get to know you guys! Ask ask ask!

PS: This post was mostly me rambling. Sorry about that! Have a good day, everyone! Love you guys!<3

  1. I wish I could play more PC games, but my graphics card is horrible. I really need to get a new one. My old computer actually had a better graphics card, though, so I used to play more PC games.

I played Skyrim a lot! I’m stuck on the console now, though, which I guess isn’t so bad, but I miss some of my old mods. I also love Mass Effect. Again, I used to play on the PC, then I had to go to the console when I got my-new-computer-with-an-awful-graphics-card. I just finished playing the Walking Dead about a month ago. That was pretty cool, and really different from the types of games I normally play. Portal 2 remains one of my favourites. I haven’t played the first one, but the second one was a gem.

    And…Commander Keen. A true classic.

I really want to play Skyrim on the PC, now. I miss my mods! ):

Annnd I think you know my e-mail address, since I mailed you a while ago. Feel free to e-mail me at any time.

    • I’ve heard a lot of good things about Skyrim. I was actually planning on getting it for awhile, but never got around to it! How is it? ๐Ÿ™‚ I also tried playing The Walking Dead…but I was sooo bad at it!!! lol I could barely get passed the first zombie. Took me a few tries….
I might just e-mail you to say Hi sometime! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for your comment!

      • Skyrim’s good if you like big, sandbox game play. The combat could be better, but the freedom to go wherever and do whatever you want more than makes up for it.

Hope to hear more from the Bolden legacy in the future. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Sorry to hear about your health, but it is good to know you are getting better, and I hope your schoolwork doesn’t overcome you… I’m sort of the same thing except… I don’t do my homework… so it’s entirely my fault >_>

WOW! OH MY GAWSH! You play World of Warcraft? I mean I’m on and off, I only hop on when other people I know are on… but seriously… that was cool. Star Wars the Old Republic… wow… same here, except when they made it Free to Play it got crappy for me… because… everything was meant to be paid for to play… so it was pointless, in my opinion, and I ended up Subing to something else :3
I have Mass Effect going on too, I have all three of them and I am like *looks at epic adventure* Nah… don’t feel like an epic adventure. (But I’ll get to it eventually)
I play Dota 2 on the side with my brother, which can be intense, and full of trolls, but as usual, use to it. (I use steam to play)
    Saints Row 3… finished it so many times… but because of how silly it is and how freaking funny it is, I am always going back to it, so I admit… my Steam name is long but here it ;
Fuzzy_cake_roflmao, if anyone ever has any games on Steam!
    (Yeah… the name….)
My Sims 3 Forum name is Pandabear997,
Ive played so many more games because I am a gigantic nerd… but I think my comment here is long enough!
I has question for you ^_^
have you ever considered making a career out of writing? ๐Ÿ˜›
    (because your a fantastic writer)

    • **Warning! Super long ranty comment coming up!**

Hahaha! I used to not do my homework at all, either. Turning over a new leaf this year though. I feel like school work is such a lame excuse for things…but when you actually try to do your homework, and do it well, it really is like a full time job!
I stopped playing WoW almost a year ago now, but my real ID is bagley777@gmail.com if you’d like to add me. My friends been trying to get me to play again, so we’ll see where that goes. ๐Ÿ™‚ Ah yeah, a lot of people had complaints about free to play. To me, it was more like a trial to see how you like it, and then if you really wanted to play you should sub. As I said before, I would play it more if I had someone to play with. I don’t have many gamer-friends, and the ones I do have don’t play that. Plus it sucks, cause I’m a total noob and have no idea what I’m doing half of the time!
I’ve never heard of Dota 2 or Saints Row 3 before. Maybe I’ll look them up. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Aww that’s really sweet! I actually have thought about it. But I decided not to, because it’s suchhh an unreliable profession. I might do something that involves writing though, or do writing on the side. I really have no idea what I want to do though, so it’s still wide open. I’ll have to wait and see, I guess! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Oh gosh! I used to play World Of Warcraft to, but stopped after a year or two. (It ate my money, okay? >_< ) Then I used to play a onlinegame called Wonderland, but stopped again when my computer refused to play the game at all (Had to reinstall the launcher everytime I wanted to play ๐Ÿ˜ฆ )
Hehhe…. sims of course to.My name on the sims 3 Community is; XeenaSeelna ๐Ÿ˜‰
And then one of my favorite games; Assassins Creed! ๐Ÿ˜€ Haven't begun to play the multiplayer yet on my PC with AC3, want to finish the story first. Playing it on PC is harder, but a lot funnier I tell you! ๐Ÿ™‚ Then I just have played random online games on the PC, since I often get bored after a while…. :3

Sorry to hear about your health problem! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I hope the doctors figure out what's wrong with you, so that you can get better ๐Ÿ˜€ I myself hope you'll get much better soon! Hugs! :3

    • Haha, it really is a money-eater! It can be a super fun game though, if you’re into that kind of thing. Blahh computer problems are the worst, especially when it’s a game you really like. :/ I know I’ve stopped playing Sims multiple times, because my computer wouldn’t open it without it crashing. But I always go back to it, and find a way to fix it!
Ohhh Assassins Creed! Nice! I play it on my PS3. I didn’t even know they had it for PC! Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me to know that you’re so understanding!

  4. I’m sorry to hear you are having health problems, I hope the Doctor can tell you soon what it is and I hope it’s nothing serious! Feel better soon! โค
I don't play any other PC games as my laptop can just about handle Sims:/ I'd like to play Skyrim as my fiancรฉ plays it on his Xbox and it looks really good, maybe when I get a new computer!
On the Sims forums I'm Clairey900 if you's like to add me on there:)
I have a couple of new chapter out of Changing Paths if you get chance to check them out.
    Take care of yourself:)

    • Thanks! The testing process is quite long and annoying, but hopefully it’ll come up with something. ๐Ÿ™‚ Darn laptops…their so convenient, yet so troublesome! Hope you get a nice new one soon. ๐Ÿ™‚
I’d love to check out your new chapters! I’ll do that today for sure. I’ve been a little behind on all the stories I read, but I’ll catch up eventually! Haha

  5. I’m so sorry to hear about your health problems. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Get lots of sleep and drink massive amounts of tea! Feel better soon(:

I love to play Civilization IV, but other than that and Sims, I’m not a big PC gamer. I prefer consoles for everything but simulation and strategy games (except for Peggle, because Peggle is the silliest best game ever). My favorites all come for PC, though! Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, and Fallout: New Vegas all come for PC, and are absolutely mind blowing. Especially Mass Effect, but that’s just my bias talking. Multiplayerwise, the only one I really got into was Left 4 Dead. It’s a simple, first person zombie shooter, and is a blast as long as you’ve got someone to play with.

    • Thank you so much! Ah, I’m personally a HUGE computer addict. I do EVERYTHING on my computer haha. A lot of people seem to prefer console gaming, though. Sims is one of the few games that most people agree is better on the computer. It’s just not the same otherwise! I see you like shooter games? ๐Ÿ™‚

      • I can’t go a day without my laptop, either! I get freaked out, haha. Sims is horrid when you play it on console. I had Sims 3 for Xbox and had to sell it. I just couldn’t take how sloppy it is! Also, the font was so small, I couldn’t read any of the instructions. Bleh. Dreadful game. I absolutely love third person shooters and Western RPGs. ๐Ÿ˜€ I’d like first person more, but they give me motion sickness. I tried to play Bioshock four times, but threw up after a half hour every time. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

      • Haha computer addicts for the win! Yeah, it’s literally hard to play Sims on consoles. It just wasn’t made well for them. I’m not particularly into shooter games, but to be honest I haven’t tried them THAT much. They’ve just never caught my attention right away. Ickk, motion sickness stinks. :/ that’s terrible, I’m sorry. My dad has the same problem, he can hardly play any computer games because the movement makes him sick. I have car sickness, so I know how you feel a litttleee bit. It would suck to be limited on video games, though!

  6. Sorry about your health issues! Hope all gets better. Well, I’ve got a Mac so I was limited game-wise until I recently got bootcamp (PC on a Mac), but even then I don’t really use it much for anything but Dayz. I play a lot of Xbox 360, specifically a few kinect games and then Fable 3, Fallout 3, and my favorite: Skyrim. Computer game wise, I am mostly into the indie game scene however I haven’t really been paying attention to it recently. My favorite games are ones with a good story, and preferably choice. Therefore, TWD (The Walking Dead) is by far my favorite game of all time. The story was just… superb. You should really try it out, I know you said it’s too difficult for you but you really just need to keep your fingers on the “Q” and “E” parts of the keyboard to get through the action scenes except for the rare ones you need to shoot in. Or, if it’s still too difficult you could just watch a video walkthrough of the game, it is after all a lot like a movie. I also like the Assassins Creed franchise, but I play that on the Xbox.

  7. I am definitely not a gamer. I’m not good at any games except dance ones (dance central, DDR, just dance) and some wii games (sports and fit) and musical ones (rock band). None of which are computer games. Besides Sims, the only computer games I’ve played were Harry Potter.

As for MMOs I played Fiesta for a little over 2 years and then Perfect World for a little over a year before I quit gaming altogether. I played about an hour of World of Warcraft.
So as you can see…I’m not a gamer at all. Haha.

  8. I dabble in Warcraft here and there. My husband has a guild so I try to keep that going with him. I used to play Final Fantasy 11 online until most of the people I played with stopped and picked up Final Fantasy 14 which I loved! I actually just got a beta invite to test their Realm Reborn version of the game so I am pretty much going to be doing that as much as I can! Sometimes though I need a break from the world of MMOs and I will pick up something puzzle-y and surprisingly Nancy Drew games are more fun than one would have thought (my mom lent me one of hers once and it was better than I expected)!

Hope you get some answers to your health issues soon. Feel better!

  9. I am really enjoying your legacy and stories and look forward to reading more ๐Ÿ™‚
Thank you for reading my legacy, sometimes I doubt whether people know that it exists lol…

To answer your question I don’t play any other pc games other than the sims but I play a lot of ps3/xbox games. Currently into Uncharted 3, Resident Evil 6, Mafia, L.A Noire, Saints row the Third and can’t wait for the new GTA.

    • Thank you! Don’t worry, it’s super hard to get readers. It’s normal! If you want some tips on how to get more readers (not that I’m any pro!) feel free to e-mail me. ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck!
